A question for all the Orwell freaks out there. Why
is it that we’ve always been at war with East Asia, but we’re only just
starting to speak Newspeak? (This may be answered somewhere in 1984, but
I haven’t read it for nearly 20 years, and I’m much too lazy to look it up. If
it isn’t, isn’t it a puzzle?)
