So I set the online

So I set the online papers blog up and
within two days there’s already suggestions about how to improve it. Luckily,
they are good suggestions!

Wo suggests that
the whole process could be automated, and offers to write a program to do just
this when I get bored with manual updates. He’s probably misjudging my boredom
threshold. (What is your boredom threshold then? It’s
just where you’d expect it to be given that I like test
match cricket
, Philip Glass and The Sims.) I hadn’t noticed when I set up the
updater that Wo has his own, much more
cleanly designed
, program to do a similar task.

And Gulliver’s
Travels
suggests that it’s just silly that I don’t have an RSS feed for the
online papers site. Actually, he’s more polite than that, but he’s right, it is
silly. I’ll try and fix this, but Blogify doesn’t seem to be working for now
and I’m not really smart enough to use any of the other methods for setting up
feeds.

Ideally, we could manually do the updates, insert
the RSS code, and write the witty commentary about the changes. Of course,
given my programming knowledge, the most likely of these to be automated is the
third.
