François Recanati has posted the final manuscript version of his book “Literal Meaning”, to be published by Cambridge University Press. Now, we await the response from Jason Stanley and company.
Last I looked, Jason Stanley and company meant Jason Stanley and Jeff King, and Jeff is skiing for at least the forseeable future (by blogworld standards), so this could be Jasons job. If someone wants to try and crash in to Jasons core business, maybe there is room for more than one Stanleyist in this profession. (Should that be Stanleyite perhaps? Or Stanleyan? Or perhaps Jason is not yet adjectivable?) It could be a lucrative gig…
