I have updated the Dr Evil paper. There is still no bibliography, but I did add some references to sections 5 and 6, tighten the dialogue in section 6 quite a bit, and correct the mistaken calculations in section 9. Originally the dialogue in section 6 was between characters in Harry Potter, then it was between Holmes and Watson, now it is between Scylla and Charybdis, who aren’t exactly known for their conversational skills. The progression of temporal space between the present and when these characters first appeared is quite staggering: 5 years or so, 120 years, 2800 years. I think at this rate the next draft will have to include characters from over 50,000 years ago, but I don’t know any stories from that far back.
