Around the Web

A few links I noticed over the last few days.

* Reports on the APA Pacific from two women’s perspectivies: “Sharon Crasnow”:http://philosopherwalk.blogspot.com/2008/03/my-pacific-apa.html and “JJ at Feminist Philosophers”:http://feministphilosophers.wordpress.com/2008/03/24/philosophys-sexism-and-the-pacific-apa/.
* Via “Experimental Philosophy”:http://experimentalphilosophy.typepad.com/experimental_philosophy/2008/03/survey-driven-r.html, a nice “paper by Simon Cullen”:http://discursively.org/x-phi/survey-driven-romanticism.pdf arguing that surveys, or at least surveys of the kind we’ve seen in experimental philosophy to date, are not a good way to gauge intuitions.
* “Snow is white” is a blog by at St Andrews grad student, Tom Hodgson. (Note I had Tom’s name wrong when I first wrote this. My apologies!)
