This is an announcement largely for people at Rutgers, but also perhaps of interest for anyone who sits in on Rutgers courses.
In the Spring, I’ll be teaching a 500-level course on probability. 500-level at Rutgers is the lowest level of graduate course, so this course will be somewhat introductory for a graduate course. I’ll be covering a lot of the material from my St Andrews lectures last summer. The slides for those lectures are below – warning: large PDFs.
I’m putting this announcement here because apparently at various points on the Rutgers website, and in the popular consciousness at Rutgers, there are about 4 different claims about what I will be teaching. I’ve been trying to correct these, but without complete success. Hence this announcement.
