Lectureship in Edinburgh

Over at the “Epistemic Value blog”:http://epistemicvaluestirling.blogspot.com/, Duncan Pritchard notes that there is a newly announced “lectureship in epistemology”:http://epistemicvaluestirling.blogspot.com/2010/05/new-epistemology-post-at-edinburgh_24.html. Applications close June 21, so interested parties should get applications in soon.

Being a philosopher, and in particular an epistemologist, in Scotland is a lot of fun, so I highly recommend this job. Of course, I’ve mostly experienced life here with a government that was more sympathetic to both Scotland and universities than the new government promises to be. But there are so many good people here, both at faculty and student level, that I think whoever gets this job will be very happy with it.
